<p>Monthly River flow rates for Russia and former Soviet Union countries prepared by Byron Bodo whereby data were combined from ds552.0 (UNESCO and GRD sets) and ds553.0 (Russian set from an exchange project between the U.S. and USSR). Exact dates vary by station. See the <a href="https://rda.ucar.edu/datasets/ds553.1/inventories/invussr1.xls">inventory</a> for detailed information. Data validation involved corrections which are documented. This is an update of the March 1999 version.</p>
