Results for the zonal mean temperature, geostrophic zonal wind and the eddy heat and momentum transports associated with the geostrophic wind are included. ATechnical Note presents a selection of the resulting statistics. Section 3 includes results for the four year mean (three year mean for May and June) climatology of zonal-mean temperatures, geostrophic winds, and eddy heat and momentum transports. Section 4 presents the statistics for individual years with a concentration on the months of December and January (when the interannual variability is largest).
