The goal is to study the upper atmosphere and ionosphere. The Resolute FPI project was supported by the National Science Foundation Grant AGS 1339918. The instrument is constructed by National Center for Atmospheric Research, High Altitude Observatory Instrumentation Group. NCAR is supported by the National Science Foundation.
