Transmissions from the terminal are in the form of a complete program deck submitted to the NCAR Control Data 7600 computer system and/or the CRAY-1 computer via the 7600 using various commands at the terminal. The input is first transmitted to a MODCOMP II computer, stored, and then forwarded to the 7600 system by the MODCOMP. If CRAY-1 execution is requested, the 7600 link processor is activated to send the job to the CRAY-1. The output stream resulting from execution of the deck is returned to the MODCOMP, stored and then transmitted to the user's terminal. This manual is designed to guidee users on all aspects for usage specifics.
