2003 JPOLE/TELEX KTLX WSR-88D Level II Radar Data [NCDC]

This data set contains Level-II WSR-88D radar data from the Twin Lakes, OK (KTLX) site in central Oklahoma (35.33N and 97.278W) during periods the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT) T-28 aircraft flew for the Joint Polarization Experiment (JPOLE) and the Thunderstorm Electrification and Lightning Experiment (TELEX) field projects. 11 June 2003: 00:00 - 00:45 UTC The NEXRAD Level II data are the three meteorological base data quantities: reflectivity, mean radial velocity, and spectrum width. Depending on the volume coverage pattern in use, the data resolution varies (five, six or ten minutes). A data file consists of a 24 byte volume scan header record followed by numerous 2432 byte base data and message records.
