IBHS Physical Hail Measurements and Compressive Strength Test Data

Physical hail measurements and comprehensive strength test data made the the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS) and Central Michigan University (CMU) ground teams at locations around the United States plains region for the ICECHIP (In-situ Collaborative Experiment for the Collection of Hail In the Plains) campaign. Measurements include the longest, widest, and deepest dimensions and mass of each hailstone. Also for some stones a compressive strength test measurements were made.
