Imaging Spectroscopy Derived Maps of 17 Plant Functional Traits for the CHEESEHEAD Study Area

Maps of 17 plant functional traits (leaf mass per area (LMA), nonstructural carbohydrates (NSC), and foliar concentration of boron, carbon, cellulose, fiber, iron, lignin, magnesium, nitrogen, phenolics, phosphorus, potassium, starch, sugars, sulfur, and zinc) across a 10km × 10km forested region in Northern Wisconsin, USA. The maps were derived from HySpex imagery collected during the Chequamegon Heterogeneous Ecosystem Energy balance Study Enabled by a High-density Extensive Array of Detectors 2019 (CHEESEHEAD19).
